What does ABTS specialise in?
We’re a subcontract manufacturing specialist with core capabilities in sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, laser cutting, assembly, and powder coating. We work primarily with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, serving industries such as:- Digital & Electrical infrastructure, Railway, and Power Generation.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No, we do not require a minimum order quantity. We’re equally equipped for one-off prototypes and large-scale production runs.
What materials do you work with?
Our core materials include:
- Mild steel
- Stainless steel
- Aluminium (including Extrusions & Castings)
- Copper
What thicknesses can you laser cut?
From 0.3mm upwards depending on material

What standards are you certified to?
We are certified to:
- ISO 9001 – Quality Management
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
What welding capabilities do you offer?
We provide:
- MIG welding
- TIG welding
- Laser welding
Do you offer powder coating in-house?
Yes. We have a fully automated powder coating system to ensure high-speed, consistent finishes on all batch sizes.
Do you work with OEM’s and Blue chip customers?
Yes, we have close partnerships with customers of this calibre across multiple industries.
Quoting & Lead Times
How quickly can I get a quote?
If required we aim to provide same-day quoting, provided we receive complete project information, including:
- CAD files or drawings (DXF, PDF, STL, STEP)
- Quantities required
- Target pricing (if available)
- Required turnaround time
What file types do you accept for quotes and production?
We accept:
- CAD formats: DXF, DWG, STEP
- 3D files: STL
- PDFs for reference
- Technical drawings with full dimensions/tolerances
What’s your typical lead time?
Lead times vary based on complexity and size of the project, but we are set up for rapid turnaround, especially for repeatable production. We’ll always discuss delivery timelines at the quoting stage.
Can I request a site visit or consultation?
Absolutely!

Do you handle repeat production runs?
Yes. We actively look to partner with clients who require repeatable, ongoing fabrication. Our systems are built to support long-term manufacturing relationships.
Can you consolidate my metalwork supply chain?
Yes. Many of our clients use ABTS to consolidate fabrication, machining, finishing, and assembly under one roof — saving time, cost, and complexity.
Can you work as part of a tender or RFQ process?
Yes. We regularly participate in RFQs and formal tenders. To respond quickly and accurately, we’ll need:
- Drawings
- Quantities
- Timelines
- Commercial terms (where applicable)
